Education without limits

Advancing aesthetic practice with new training opportunities

At Wigmore Medical, our training philosophy has always been rooted in progression —supporting practitioners at every stage of their aesthetic journey with education that is clinically grounded, evidence-based and relevant to real-world practice. As the industry continues to evolve, so too does the demand for more nuanced, integrated and regenerative approaches to treatment.
This February, we are delighted to announce the launch of two exciting training courses, each designed to meet the needs of experienced practitioners looking to refine, expand and future-proof their clinical offering:

  • Full face rejuvenation with toxins and
  • Polynucleotides with Plenhyage XL.

Full face rejuvenation with toxins Advanced training for experienced injectors
Our new Full Face Rejuvenation with Toxins course has been carefully developed for practitioners who already have a solid foundation in neurotoxin treatments and are ready to take their results to the next level.

Moving beyond single-area treatments, this advanced course offers a comprehensive, standardised approach to full-face assessment and treatment planning, focusing on balance, harmony and natural-looking outcomes. Delegates will explore how subtle variations between licensed neurotoxin formulations—including onset, diffusion and precision—can influence both technique and patient experience.

Led by highly respected Nurse Practitioner Sara Cheeney, this training revisits essential theoretical principles while advancing delegates’ practical skills in consultation, anatomical assessment, injection strategy, aftercare and complication management. Sara brings extensive clinical experience to the course, performing thousands of aesthetic procedures each year with a strong emphasis on safety, precision and patientcentred care.

The day combines a focused theory session with live demonstration and supervised hands-on practice, allowing delegates to refine technique across multiple facial areas including the glabella, forehead, crow’s feet, perioral region, chin and more. Training is intentionally limited to a maximum of six delegates, ensuring personalised guidance, in-depth discussion and meaningful clinical feedback.

This course is specifically targeted at experienced medical practitioners—doctors, dentists, nurses and prescribing pharmacists—who have completed at least 20 toxin treatments within the past year and are looking to enhance consistency, reduce complications and deliver refined, predictable full-face results.

Polynucleotides with Plenhyage XL Next-generation regenerative aesthetics
Alongside our advanced toxin training, we are proud to introduce Polynucleotides with Plenhyage XL—a comprehensive one-day course centred on regenerative, skin-focused injectables using one of the leading, highest-purity polynucleotide formulations on the market.

Polynucleotides continue to grow in demand, and while we already offer training in this field, Plenhyage XL brings its own distinct clinical advantages—making it an exciting and complementary addition to our training portfolio.

Delegates will gain a deep understanding of the science behind polynucleotides, including their role in tissue regeneration, cellular repair and interaction with the extracellular matrix. The course explores treatment planning for key areas such as the face, periorbital region, neck and décolletage, with guidance on dosing schedules, cumulative effects and combining polynucleotides with other modalities.

What sets Plenhyage XL apart is its meticulous formulation and manufacturing process. Developed by a company with over 40 years of scientific research and development, Plenhyage XL is produced using FDA-certified salmon DNA, features the highest concentration of PDRN on the market, and is formulated to closely match the body’s natural pH and osmolality. With no preservatives added and strict quality controls ensuring consistency and purity, it offers a well-tolerated, physiologically aligned option for skin regeneration.

The afternoon session focuses on hands-on clinical training with live models, allowing delegates to observe and deliver full treatments using both needle and cannula techniques under expert supervision. By the end of the day, practitioners will feel confident integrating safe and effective polynucleotide treatments into their clinics.

We are currently onboarding an exceptional team of expert trainers for this course, with dates launching initially in London, followed by national roll-out across the UK. Course dates to be released very soon.

WHAT’S NEXT

These two new courses reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting practitioners at every stage of their aesthetic journey—from strengthening core foundations to advancing specialist clinical expertise. Whether refining full-face toxin strategies or expanding into regenerative aesthetics, our growing training portfolio is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern practice.

Alongside these launches, we have many other exciting developments underway, including a new psychology in aesthetics training programme aligned with the latest regulatory guidance, designed to support patient safety, improve consultation outcomes and enhance long-term treatment success.

Further training developments are also in progress across complications management, skincare and next generation injectable treatments.

We are also continuing to invest in how our education is delivered, with a focus on enhancing the overall learning experience and supporting practitioners well beyond the classroom. Stay tuned for more announcements coming soon.
