.Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides is the current 'buzz' word in the aesthetic industry and it is a treatment growing at a fast rate. They work by stimulating the dermal epidermal junction (DEJ) to produce more fibroblasts and strengthen the anchoring fibers which keep the dermis and epidermis intact and therefore reducing epidermal sliding and sagging of the skin. This treatment is perfect when teamed up with ZO Firming Serum which has a whole host of peptides that are transported to the DEJ to strengthen these same fibers: a winning combination for tighter, smoother skin. Laser / IPL
Often after a laser or IPL treatment, the skin can feel quite hot. The Hydra Aloe Mask from ZO Skin Health is fantastic to use post-treatment, whilst still in clinic, to cool, soothe and reduce post-treatment redness. The patient can then follow up at home with ZO Hydrating Crème to reduce inflammation, hydrate and calm any irritation. An alternative product is Soothing Balm from HydroPeptide which leaves a protective barrier on the skin to provide skin comfort and reduce any irritation.
Fractional RF
Whilst we are seeing amazing results with fractional RF treatments such as Morpheus8, the downtime can be restrictive. ZO Skin Health’s Soothing Ointment can be used directly after treatment and then for the days post-procedure whilst the skin heals. The calming ingredients offer comfort to irritated skin whilst encouraging cellular regeneration for faster healing and prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. As a pre-treatment prep, we also suggest ZO Balancing Cleansing Emulsion which builds and protects the barrier function of the skin whilst calming and soothing any irritation—fantastic to use on stressed skin to fully cleanse without causing any further irritation.
LED light therapy
This is a wonderful therapy to add to any treatment including injectables and facials. When used with the HydoPeptide Moisture Infusion Mask, whilst under the LED lamp, the skin is left plump, hydrated and brighter whilst also increasing the performance of the LED lights. This combination of treatment is great to use postinjectables to increase patient satisfaction and has a minimal cost for the clinic. The patient leaves the clinic with glowing skin!
Microneedling
With the development of microneedling devices in the aesthetic market, there has recently been a spike in the demand for this treatment. Whilst it offers amazing results for anti-ageing and texture improvement, it is also an opportunity to add active ingredients to the skin to really increase results. The Accelerated Serums from ZO are available in Firming (for anti-ageing), Brightalive (for skin brightening) and Rozatrol (for the treatment of rosacea). These serums are packaged in 5ml dropper bottles and used during the treatment by applying to the skin whilst the channels are still open. The remaining product is then given to the patient to take home and use for up to two weeks post-procedure. The Accelerated Serums are two times stronger than the retail versions and have been fully safety tested to be used postneedling. Tear trough treatment
You can use ZO Growth Factor Eye Serum both before and after this treatment to plump up the under-eye area and stimulate fibroblast activity. Your patient can continue to use the Serum day and night, to increase the aesthetic benefits and longevity of the filler.
Body contouring / fat reduction
Whilst these treatments are great at reducing stubborn pockets of fat, tightening and reducing cellulite, they are very reliant on lifestyle of the patient. Using the HydroPeptide Firming
Moisturiser to tighten skin or ZO Body Smoothing Crème to reduce cellulite will significantly improve results. They certainly work best when teamed up with a clinical treatment.
Sun protection
Following all face treatments, as you know, it is best practice to put sunscreen on your patients. ZO Sheer Fluid SPF, a mineralbased SPF has a light, matt texture which will blend into all skin tones. It is safe and effective to use post any procedure without compromising the skin or results of treatment. With all treatment and skincare combinations, I suggest that
you package them as one treatment cost rather than an additional cost for the homecare. The patient will pay one fee for the whole package. This increases patient loyalty. They feel delighted to leave the clinic with a whole regime for their treatment plan.
