Croma Exprecell™ is a next-generation medical device designed for the preparation of anticoagulant-free Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) | Fluid-Platelet-Rich Fibrin (Fluid-PRF) within minutes.
The preparation of PRP without the use of anticoagulants results in the formation of Fluid-PRF. This biologically active concentrate retains the regenerative properties of platelets and associated growth factors while remaining liquid for a defined period of time. This liquid state allows clinicians to use the preparation with minimal discomfort to the patient while preserving key biological components.
Designed to support clinicians who are already offering regenerative treatments, such as PRP, to incorporate the additional benefits of Fluid PRF into their practice, Exprecell™ provides practitioners with an efficient and reliable way to prepare autologous blood concentrates within clinical practice.

"Croma Exprecell™ prepares anticoagulant-free Fluid-PRF in just minutes, delivering a concentrated dose of platelets and growth factors that support skin renewal, collagen production and tissue repair. This biologically active concentrate retains the regenerative properties of platelets and leukocytes while remaining liquid for a defined period of time and enables us to preserve the biological components that are important in regenerative medicine and to ensure we are working to optimise your treatment outcome.”

One of the key aspects of Exprecell™ is its all-in-one design. The system has been developed to allow blood aspiration, centrifugation and Fluid-PRF extraction within a high capacity single syringe device. An optimised separation process using a single spin cycle allows the Fluid PRF to be prepared from whole blood in only five minutes. The design simplifies the preparation process for clinicians while supporting efficient and consistent results.
Exprecell™ has been designed with efficiency and usability in mind. The high-capacity syringe allows clinicians to aspirate approximately 18ml of whole blood, which yields around 8.5ml of autologous Fluid-PRF. The single spin preparation process takes about five minutes, helping to streamline treatment workflows.
Of key importance are the DEPA parameters of the system whereby the dose (platelet concentration) reaches on average 2.3x that of whole blood, falling within the therapeutic range of autologous platelet concentrates. The efficiency (platelet recovery) has been observed between 52-96% and purity (erythrocyte reduction) reaching 99% which is furthered by the addition of a midline channel between the concentrate and extraction syringe.
The ultimate benefit lies in the inactivated fibrinogen which, post injection into the treatment site, matures into a fibrin mesh delivering a slow and continued release of growth factors (up to 14 days post op) and a marked increase in fibroblast migration (up to 150% more than PRP).

“I have utilised PRP alongside nonsurgical and surgical procedures to address hair loss as well as a means of skin rejuvenation within my clinical practice for a number of years. With the growing patient demand for regenerative treatments, it is exciting to provide an MDR-approved solution for autologous Fluid PRF. Croma Exprecell™ allows clinicians to offer regenerative treatments using an efficient preparation system that aligns with modern medical standards whilst providing an improved iteration of an existing treatment modality.”
