Face Shield Flex is part of Colorescience’s awardwinning Total Protection range, powered by EnviroScreen Technology. It offers broad-spectrum SPF 50 protection against UVA/UVB, pollution, blue light, and infrared radiation, all whilst evening out your skin tone, disguising blemishes and leaving a demi-matte, skin like finish.
What makes it truly special is its colour-adapting pigment technology. The formula starts out white, then ‘blooms’ into tinted coverage as you warm it up between your fingers. It provides natural, buildable coverage that adjusts to match your skin, giving you that much-desired ‘your skin but better’ look.
The science behind the SPF
This hydrating, antioxidant-rich allmineral sunscreen is powered by:
- 12% zinc oxide—provides UVA/UVB and free radical defence, in an all-mineral formulation
- Niacinamide and bisabolol—to calm and soothe
- Hydrating silver ear mushroom extract —to deeply hydrate and plump the skin
- Iron oxide pigments—act as cosmetic colourants and are encapsulated to allow them to adjust to the skin’s natural tone when activated upon contact. This ingredient is also proven to protect skin from damage and photo ageing caused by blue (HEV light) Face Shield Flex is vegan, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, and safe for even the most sensitive skin types.
Six flexible shades
With the recent launch of two new shades, the Face Shield Flex line-up now includes: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, Deep, and Rich Deep, designed to better cater to a wider range of undertones and skin depths.
