This hands-on training course is ideal for practitioners who have completed the Foundation and Enzyme classes. This module includes the theory of Image level 1 and 2 Chemical peels, different acids, pH of the skin, the importance of prepping the skin, consultation, peel protocols and aftercare. enabling you to confidently select the correct treatment. With small group learning and practical supervision, this course is the perfect for practitioners wanting to offer IMAGE chemical peels into your clinical offering.

What will this course cover?

  • Overview of IMAGE Chemical Peels Level 1 and 2
  • Key ingredients, indications, and expected skin responses (including blanching and frosting)
  • Peel levels and treatment selection based on skin type and condition
  • Skin preparation guidance using the Fitzpatrick scale
  • Contraindications, aftercare protocols, and treatment safety
  • Practical application, timing, and removal of peels

You’ll learn how to integrate these treatments into your practice, laying the groundwork for more advanced protocols and long-term client skincare planning.

Treatment Models
All delegates are required to act as both practitioner and patient during the practical component of the course. This peer-to-peer format ensures hands-on experience with real-time feedback. A digital consent form will be provided in advance and must be completed prior to attending the training.


Delegate Skin Preparation Requirements
To ensure safety, optimal results, and the best possible learning experience during this training, all delegates must have appropriately prepped skin prior to attending the course.
While a suitably prepped demonstration model will always be provided by Wigmore Medical, delegates are encouraged to practise treatments on each other during the practical component of the training. For this reason, personal skin preparation is essential.
 
Required Homecare Preparation
Delegates must prepare their skin using the IMAGE Skincare Core 4 Regimen for the minimum period outlined below:
  • Fitzpatrick I–III: 2–3 weeks
  • Fitzpatrick IV: 4 weeks
  • Fitzpatrick V: 5 weeks
  • Fitzpatrick VI: 6 weeks
For Fitzpatrick IV and above, preparation must include one of the IMAGE ILUMA serums for a minimum of 4-6 weeks prior to training.
 
Important Notes
  • Delegates who have not completed the required skin preparation will not be able to receive a chemical peel on the day.
  • Non-medical therapists must have previously completed enzyme peels before progressing to chemical or advanced peels.
  • Preparation requirements for medical professionals may differ slightly and will be assessed accordingly.

Upon successful completion of the course and confirmation of your attendance, you will receive an automated email containing a secure link and passcode to download your certificate.

Aileen White

IMAGE Trainer

Aileen is a highly experienced aesthetic practitioner and trainer with over three decades in the health, beauty, and aesthetics industry.

She qualified with an HND in Health and Beauty Therapy in Glasgow in 1991 and began her career in a five-star spa working with Clarins, progressing to Spa Manager.

After three years, Aileen moved into a private clinic specialising in CACI non-surgical facial treatments and MD Formulations glycolic peels, where her passion for advanced skincare and aesthetics truly began. This led her to establish her own successful aesthetics business, which she continues to run today.

Alongside her clinical work, Aileen has been delivering professional training for over 19 years and takes great pride in sharing her knowledge and experience with fellow practitioners. Aileen has a strong interest in ingredient science, skin physiology, and rejuvenation, and is driven by the ever-evolving nature of the aesthetics industry.

She is passionate about continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and supporting therapists to grow in confidence, skill, and understanding of the skin.
