How Will You Be Assessed?
·      Theory Assessment: Delegates must achieve at least 75% in the online Q&A before progressing to practical training.
·      Practical Assessment: Trainers will evaluate competency in consultation, anatomy assessment, injection planning, sterilisation, and treatment safety.
·      Delegates who do not meet these standards may be required to re-train before certification is awarded.

Dr Mayoni Gooneratne

Polynucleotides Trainer

Dr Mayoni Gooneratne MBBS, BSc, MRCS,  mBCAM, AFMCP is the founder and medical director of Human Health and SkinFit, which she created to help women truly thrive inside and out. She is renowned for her holistic approach to aesthetics and uses cell optimisation combined with medical aesthetics in order to deliver excellent results for her patients. 

 

She is a former NHS colorectal and pelvic floor surgeon, who undertook a period of research early in her career to look at the changes in the nerve pathways resulting in faecal incontinence. She realised how little women knew about their health and also felt that conventional healthcare structures kept people moving towards illness, rather than being health facing. This prompted her to create The Clinic by Dr Mayoni which allows her and her world class team to deliver an upstream level of care. 

 

She has spoken throughout her career at several international and national surgical and health conferences about her research, modern aesthetics treatments and also hormone health. Most recently she curated the Medical Longevity Summit in October 2023 to promote health and wellness to the aesthetic industry, and was presented with the accolade of being the most influential speaker at the event. She has published in peer reviewed journals, as well as more main stream consumer press namely Tatler, Cosmopolitan and Women’s Health.

 

Her services and clinic are award winning having been highly commended annually in the Aesthetics Awards.  Dr Mayoni has herself been awarded f:entrepreneur 100 in 2019 and was awarded as a finalist for Best Business Woman in Health and Wellness 2022.
