Course Summary
Polynucleotides are the latest treatment to be taking the aesthetics industry by storm, and this course offers a comprehensive introduction to these revolutionary skin boosters.
Led by esteemed surgeon Dr Mayoni Gooneratne, founder of SkinFit and Human Health, this course will equip practitioners with an understanding of the treatment, as well as PolyPhil (formerly known as PhilArt)– one of the leading polynucleotide ranges from Croma Pharma.
Attendees will learn how polynucleotides work, what makes them special and why practitioners should be using them in clinic to treat their patients for a variety of indications.
Skin boosters are an important pillar of a minimally invasive aesthetics portfolio, next to HA fillers, botulinum toxins and PDO threads, allowing for combination therapies and a full-face approach. Sitting in the bio-remodelling category, polynucleotides act in the dermis completely differently from HA based skinboosters. Their mode of action is quite unique and having been used in therapeutic medicine for well over 20 years, there is a lot of clinical data to prove their safety and efficacy.
What will this course cover?
Comprising of a theory learning presentation, a trainer demonstration and plenty of hands-on practice for each delegate, this course will cover everything a practitioner needs to know to successfully incorporate this treatment into their practice.
Delegates can choose between a morning or afternoon session, each of which will have a maximum of four delegates, ensuring plenty of delegate-trainer interaction and close attention and supervision during the hands-on practice.
After completion of the practical training, delegates will feel confident to effectively utilise the PolyPhil range of polynucleotides for rejuvenating and restoring their patients' skin. Delegates will have the opportunity to inject two areas on the day and will be provided with 2 x 2ml syringes to really get a feel for the products and how to use them.
