The College of Trichological Science and Practice (CTSP) believe that to be a safe and competent trichologist, you need an excellent understanding of skin, hair and scalp anatomy and physiology, underpinned by knowledge of psychology, nutrition and cosmetic science. You should be able to identify trichological diseases and disorders and the skills to consult, assess and treat patients experiencing hair and scalp conditions or dealing with the emotional impact of hair loss.

CTSP offer more than just 'courses' - we've created an education and training 'pathway' offering rewarding and challenging programmes at recognised academic levels. Written by leading practising trichologists, hair researchers, cosmetic scientists and psychologists and supported by academic experts –you can be sure every CTSP programme is current, relevant and quality assured.  You will gain an accredited, customised qualification awarded by EduQual and access CTSPs growing network of mentors, tutors and practitioners to support learners on their onward journey.

The pathway is the first of its kind within trichology to be accredited and aligned to a standards framework that offers a series of vocational programmes at higher education levels (4, 5* and 6*). * L5 & 6 programmes to be finalised.
